Degassing     
Minimizes the ventilation required to permit safe entry.  Degassing significanly reduces ventilated emissions and odours.    
                                     
Odour Controls
Chemical additives are introduced into venilation exhaust to remove or minimize unpleasent odours.  

Vacuum Truck Scrubbing
Exhaust from vacuum truck operations is scrubbed with caustic treatment to minimize or eliminate emissions and odours.   
                                                     
H2S Treating
H2S is treated within the tank, which again improves emissions, and helps reduce unpleasent odours. Wastes are easier to dispose of, as they are not classified as sour product, which generally means more disposal options for the producer.
